We launched our Asian tool making operations in 2007 to support JMMS design, engineering and manufacturing in South Carolina. Adding global capability cut our lead times and allowed for competitive baseline pricing.
JMMS added design and engineering associates in Dong Guan in 2009, for “Follow the Sun” engineering (our engineers in Dong Guan start work on projects as we complete our day in South Carolina, so workflow moves faster).
Our Dong Guan engineers and toolmakers are trained and certified on our Cimatron 13.0 platform, for full integration with our concurrent engineering in South Carolina.
